Imus has it, and apparently CBS does not have the closely related freedom of association, since you'd have them compelled to air Imus regardless of the firm's corporate goals, advertiser issues, etc.<BR/><BR/>Imus's free speech has not been abridged at all. He can continue to call college students juvenile and racist names all he likes. He just can't cash a great big check from CBS for doing so every two weeks anymore. But his freedom of speech was not harmed, and nor is freedom of speech in general harmed by his firing.<BR/><BR/>For example, he could get a blog.
