Poets & Writers is very pleased to announce the launch of a new, paid Fellowship program designed to develop future leaders for the literary field.
Each year, two individuals will have an opportunity to work with Poets & Writers, 20 hours per week for 10 months. One Fellow will work with the editorial department and one with the Readings/Workshops program. (This year, the R/W Fellow will work in our Los Angeles office.) These paid positions will provide exposure to literary programming or publishing, along with unique opportunities to learn about the field.
While the program is perhaps best suited to a current graduate student, or someone who has recently completed a graduate degree, we welcome applications from other qualified candidates as well.
We are currently seeking applications for the 2010 Editorial Fellowship, which will begin in September. The application deadline is June 15.
