Great story. Nice balance of the locale, people and politics. You failed to mention how a Vermont resident coped with the many non-airconditioned establishments in Cuba. Maybe that was intentional so as to not discourage future tourists.
Thanks Brian! I'm sort of anti-airconditioning anyway, yet another reason Cuba is my kind of place.
Love the psychology of the taxi driver's line, so cool, it said so much with so little:
