A reminder for the August residency: make plans for August 3-10.
August 3 will be the the arrival date with an afternoon orientation for new students and an early evening dinner/welcome. August 9 will include a full schedule of events, and August 10 will be the return travel date. All students are expected to attend the full schedule on the 9th; at our last residency we had too many people scooting out a little early, to the detriment of our final afternoon/evening of the program. It wasn't fair to the presenters, and I'm sure you wouldn't want your peers sneaking out on your opportunity to present your work.
Looking forward to seeing everyone! Good luck with the end of your semester.

Perfume,
Thank you for sharing that. What is your genre?
Best Blogrolls,
Wine
Where can I find logistical information about this residency? Things like where we'll be staying, what campus the residency will be at, etc. Until recently, I was under the impression that we were going to Puerto Rico in August.
Adam
Puerto Rico in JANUARY. As usual, we will be on the Westside campus for August. Details on workshops, etc. forthcoming. What else do you want to know?
Brian, you're a gentleman and a scholar. The Westside campus, I'm assuming, is the same campus as last year? Will we be in dorms again? For some reason, I thought Puerto Rico was in August. Thanks for setting me straight.
Troth, and for mine own part, I am a poor gentleman and a scholar. I have been matriculated in the University, wore out six gowns there, seen some fools, and some scholars, some of the city, and some of the country, kept order, went bare-headed over the quadrangle, eat my commons with a good stomach, and battled with discretion; at last, having done many sleights and tricks to maintain my wit in use (as my brain would never endure me to be idle) I was expelled the University, only for stealing a cheese out of Jesus College!
Same campus, in dorms. Hey, anyone smell perfume...?
I'm not sure where Perfume took off to...but I'm sure she's blogrollin' like a lumberjack.
Keep on rockin' in the free world!
Don
Regardless, I find this post quite likeable. And this blog is very interesting. Congratulations are in order!
