Opportunity to Meet with Elizabeth Alexander

I have one opening for an MFA student to meet with poet Elizabeth Alexander when she is on campus on Wednesday, 2/23. As with Tim O'Brien's visit, we're bringing together a group of students from across the disciplines who might be interested in Alexander's work. These students will have the opportunity to meet with Alexander before her evening presentation ("Understanding America Through African American Culture") and ask questions. She also will talk about her latest publication, Crave Radiance. The small group meeting will most likely take place in the late afternoon of the 23rd, and the evening event is at 7 p.m. in White Hall on the Midtown campus.

Let me know by noon on Thursday, 2/3, if you're interested; send an email to azevedoh@wcsu.edu First come, first served.
