"Don't Look Down" wins Funds for Writers Contest

When one of my good friends was diagnosed with breast cancer this fall, it struck hard. So I did what I tend to do: I wrote about. Sent it in to a writing contest without any thought about it actually winning. But it did! You can check it out at the link above.

Ugh...let me try again. Congrats on this wonderful accomplishment! It was so uplifting to read about the experience of breast surgery from "the other side." Please let Katie know about the www.presspausemomentsblog.com where two of the PPM writers and I wrote (and one podcast)about pre and post surgery experiences. I think we all share a universal view made up of uniquely individual experiences.
