Brian,

What about those who live far away? How do we get a copy?

Try giving the bookstore a call and see if they'll mail you one. You could offer a credit card number over the phone for the shipping expense. If you try this, talk to a manager, not the person who answers the phone.

They tried to deny me a copy saying it was only for freshman... but I begged and pleaded and tried to shrink in stature so as to resemble a freshman (after I had said I was a grad student, but a freshman grad student....) good luck people. Say you're a freshman.

I'll notify the Provost of this. The books are for all students.

The Provost's office has cleared this up with the bookstore. If you have any further trouble getting a free copy at the Midtown campus bookstore, ask for Will.

The Provost has cleared the problem! Apparently, no charge for shipping for those far away. If the phone run-around drives you nuts, and you want to speak to a live person, call (203) 837-9404.
